For someone spending money on a budget Android tablet, the choice is quite wide, but there is no real clear winner on what to buy. For those amongst you who rely on benchmarks as a crucial criterion in a buying decision, the series of graphs below pitting the tablets against one another in multiple benchmarks should help.
Also, do note that certain tablets did not get any score in the Peacekeeper benchmark. The reason for that is, despite multiple attempts, the browser kept crashing during the test.
The HCL Me X1 tablet (read our review) did not get any score for LinPack, Antutu and GLBenchmark. The reason for that is simple - HCL have removed access to Android Marketand their own custom app store does not have these benchmark apps available. As a rule, we download the latest versions of the benchmark before running the tests. ViewSonic Viewpad 7e (read our review) faced the same issue with GLBenchmark.
